Nurse Georgie bounds on to stage full of energy and joi de vivre and the laughs don’t stop. She certainly tickles the funny bones of the crowd, stuffed full of healthcare professionals nodding knowingly at each other. Fortunately there’s still plenty for the few of us without medical degrees.
You know what to expect – doses of behind-the-scenes hospital hijinks and amusing anecdotes. While Georgie says she’ll be nicer to physios this time – she still brands them a waste of a hot person.
She returned to the frontline this year in the thick of the COVID pandemic, this time as a community nurse. So there’s a whole new sector for the Manchester-born, Adelaide-based comic to mine. She’s also gone viral, so she’s loving herself fully sick.
With her boisterous bedside manner, she’s infectiously funny and it’s largely all killer with very little filler.
Don’t miss her – she’s exactly what the doctored ordered.
