Lebanese-born, Sydney-based comedian Fady Kassab provides plenty of belly laughs as he takes audiences through seemingly irrelevant life stories which culminate in a hilarious perspective on love and relationships.
Kassab hits the ground running in his hour-long set, bantering about topical issues before reflecting on his transition into Australian culture and sharing his pistachio radius theory (which definitely needs some government research – it’s genius).
His ability to seamlessly interweave vastly different stories from war-torn Lebanon to his questionable swimming career, while simultaneously leaving the audience in stitches, is remarkable. It is easy to see why Kassab was selected to feature in the Best of Edinburgh showcase show.
The performance does dip during the middle, but Kassab brings it back for a strong finish which will leave you questioning your own relationship and dating life.
