The perennially dreadlocked Fabien Clark is back with another of his distinctive shows, this time a romp around the delights and perils of family life, partners, kids, parents and more.
A tale about the horrors of children’s craft, tissue boxes, toilet rolls and paddle pop sticks had an unmistakeable ring of truth, as did the description of the chaos of a children’s dance performance.
Fervent nods from the parents in the audience were all that it took!
Fabien’s appeal would be broadened if he felt less inclined to drop F and S bombs in every line, which palls quickly and loses its comic appeal entirely after the first hundred or so times.
His material is strong enough on its own and doesn’t need profanity to make it funny.
