The Squeaker (open-air) at Gluttony
Until March 20
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work on a stud farm?
Do you hate the idea of gender reveal parties?
Are you just totally thrilled to be out of lockdown and back on the streets alongside drunk, half-nude men trying to fight you?
If you answered yes to even one of those questions, you’ll absolutely love David Connell’s hour of raw, unique and that-surely-didn’t-happen stories.
Connell is bright and engaging but, at the same time, incredibly laid back. He tells his tales with complete ease and is very convincing in his delivery.
At 38 he can relate to all ages, bringing stories about his dad into the mix to please older crowds, and making hints about his not-so-safe laptop history that younger ones will definitely know about.
Joking about the bats flying overhead, Daniel chats to the audience like he’s known them for ages, and welcomes their comments at every opportunity.
This is definitely the show you’ll need after a long day – a place where you can sit back, relax and giggle away into the night.
