This “cabernet” show is what it says on the bottle: A familiar blend of song, dance, comedy and aerial acrobatic routines with a recurring wine theme.

Co-producer Amelie Peters brings some distinctly Australian intonations and belting big notes to her original songs at the piano, between comic burlesque routines.

These include a balloon-bursting cross between purple and green grapes as they contort to get the sexy balance just right.

Choreography in other numbers is tight, but falls somewhere between what you might expect from a dance school graduation performance and a cheerleading squad. Numbers tend to fade out, rather than end with a bang.

Impressive displays from the aerialist, who creates an endless kaleidoscope of beautiful configurations within her hoop, add just enough circus flavour to this all-female production.
