Alley Cat at Rhino Room

Until March 5

In their incredibly intimate display of stripped-back stand-up, Vasquez and Kuss make a night of poking light at otherwise dark stereotypes of race and sexuality.

Telling stories from their lives, and some from Tina Arena’s, Bronwyn and Matthew make fun of their experiences with catfishing, working in admin, feminine hygiene and language barriers.

Quite raunchy at times – maybe leave the kids at home for this one – their ability to take everyday scenarios and twist them to create somewhat unnatural laughter is unparalleled.

Their raw personalities shine under the spotlight and, although some jokes seem a little drawn out, their connection with the audience leaves you feeling like you’ve known them your whole life.

And yes, you do get to decide who is brown, and who is gay.
