Bring some tissues with you to this one because, wow, it’s a tear-jerker. Two estranged brothers are reunited through the most unfortunate of times.
Separated by trauma and addiction, the two reflect on their childhood and what drove them to become the people they are today.
Through a clever use of flashbacks, the audience is given fragments of information throughout the performance which they then piece together to provide an understanding of these complex characters.
Real life siblings Daniel and Liam O’Kane take on the roles with extraordinary commitment, with their physical performances exuding energy and enthusiasm.
However, both actors could take more time to express the true vulnerability of their characters, instead of often rushing to fill the natural silences where the weight of emotions can be left to simmer.
