The Factory at The Garden of Unearthly Delights

Until March 20

A raucous trip from start to finish, Best of the Edinburgh Fest brings three top-tier international talents to the stage and leaves several mildly offended bogans.

What more could you want from a night of Fringe comedy?

Offering three seasoned performers with their own unique brand of stand-up, there’s something here to tickle any type of funny bone.

Bright, effervescent and pleasantly filthy, Nicky Wilkinson opens the show with aplomb via her cheeky riffs on Aussie culture, hysterical personal anecdotes and audience participation that’ll teach you more than you bargained for about your fellow punters.

If dark, nihilistic humour is your thing, Kelsey De Almeida – the perfect example of how not to handle lockdown break-up – has got you covered. He’s the rare combination of bitterly outrageous and oddly endearing and definitely one to watch.

But the piece de resistance – delightfully self-deprecating and instantly captivating – is Luke Benson, who brings a confident set of clever comedy that closes the show on a high. Literally – the man is a towering 6 foot 7.

A guaranteed hour of snort-laughs and shocked cackles – Best of the Edinburgh Fest will send you into the night with a buzz.
