A 29-year-old woman has died in hospital two days after being hit by garbage truck
A 29-year-old woman hit by a garbage truck in SA’s north on Tuesday night has died in hospital from her injuries.
A 29-year-old woman has died in hospital after she was hit by a garbage truck in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Tuesday night.
Police and emergency services called to Park Terrace just after 11pm, with reports that a woman had been hit by a truck.
The pedestrian from Woodville West was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but succumbed to her injuries and died on Thursday.
The driver of the truck, a 35-year-old Semaphore South man, was not physically injured.
Major Crash officers attended and examined the scene.
The woman’s death is the 11th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
