Gang of teens to face court after police end alleged joy ride at Port Wakefield
A group of seven children aged between 13 and 16 will face court on Thursday after police were forced to spike a stolen car and call in the dog squad.

Just after 2am on Thursday, Port Augusta police were called to Caroona Rd after reports a house had been broken into and a silver Toyota Kluger had been stolen.
Police allege they spotted the Toyota just after 2.50am travelling south on Augusta Highway where road spikes were used to stop the car in Port Wakefield.
Police dog Edge was brought in to help find the teens.
The driver – a 16-year-old boy from Port Augusta West – was arrested and is expected to be charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and traffic offences.
The six passengers – a 13-year-old boy from Port Augusta West, a 14-year-old boy from Port Augusta, two 15-year-old boys from Port Augusta West and two 16-year-old boys from Port Augusta West – were arrested and expected to be charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and other offences.
Police say it is expected the youths would be refused bail and are set to appear in the Port Pirie Youth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
