WATCH THE ROUNDTABLE HERE – FRIDAY 12.30PM
WoolProducers Australia chief executive Jo Hall, Endeavour Wool Exports trading manager Josh Lamb, Lambpro principal Tom Bull and Gundagai Meat Processors chief executive Will Barton will make up the online panel, hosted by The Weekly Times livestock editor Fiona Myers.
Ms Hall said it was a great chance to discuss critical issues, including how the sector is protecting itself against the biosecurity threat of foot and mouth disease.
“We’re currently operating in a very fast evolving environment in the wool sector, both here domestically and in international markets,” Ms Hall said.
“This roundtable will provide insights into the big challenges and opportunities for the wool industry, and also provide wool growers with a fantastic opportunity to ask burning questions that they may have.”
Mr Bull said he was looking forward to discussing future supply chain opportunities, production trends and how the sheep industry could remain competitive in the face of a dominant cropping sector.
Mr Lamb said the round table offered farmers a great chance to join the conversation about important issues that will shape the industry.
The panel discussion will be streamed live on theweeklytimes.com.au on Friday July 29 at 12.30pm.
