It doesn't come more Irish at O'Donoghue's than a beef and Guinness pie and mashed potato downed with a pint of ale. There's a good English beer selection, and the $9 lunch menu of chicken schnitzel, vegetable burger, fish, roast or rump steak, all served with sauce, salad and chips, is popular. A full rack of tender barbecued pork ribs smothered in sauce with fries and bold, spicy chilli prawns are treats from the lunch board specials. The Malteser-tasting malt cake and the cheesecake are recommended desserts.
