A 28-year-old woman has died following a car crash on the Bass Highway at Elizabeth Town in the Meander Valley.
The crash happened on Monday evening.
A male and a female, who received minor injuries in the crash, were taken to hospital. Both are in a stable condition.
The road remained closed last on Monday night while police investigate the scene.
Traffic was being diverted via Railton Rd and Gannons Hill Rd
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
