A trial will be held for a young Tasmanian woman who has pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving following a Good Friday fatality.
Storm Cecilia Tientjes, who is on bail, faced the Supreme Court of Tasmania on Monday for a brief administrative hearing ahead of the 2024 trial in Hobart.
Ms Tientjes, 27, has pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving dating back to April 7 this year, following the death of a woman on the Arthur Highway at Copping.
Ms Tientjes has also pleaded not guilty to assaulting a female police officer the following day by allegedly headbutting her to the face.
Tasmania Police previously said a female passenger of a white MG SUV died following a two-vehicle crash.
Ms Tientjes will return to court on February 20 next year for a directions hearing ahead of a trial, which is yet to have a date scheduled.
