Adrian Portelli has unveiled his $9 million designs and plans for Melbourne’s most expensive penthouse, which will feature a pool, gym, stadium size screen and cinema in addition to his already installed $3 million McLaren Senna GTR.

After claiming to have purchased the costly slice of property for about $39m in April, the 34 year-old revealed to his Instagram following on Thursday, 10 long-awaited sketches detailing what his 1200 sq/m luxury bachelor pad would look like once furnished.

One standout feature is the million dollar pool and a stadium sized screen, worth $250,000, that drops down from the ceiling of the penthouse which is situated on levels 57 and 58 of Sapphire by the Gardens.

It will include a balcony on the top floor overlooking the dining area and a lounge area with a city view, four bedrooms with a bathroom ensuite for each and three kitchens.

The main bedroom is also a generous size and features what looks like a kingsize bed and two single-seater couches.

These furnishings sit near the entrance of a walk-in robe that appears large enough to be another bedroom.

As for the bathroom, those living in the penthouse can opt for a shower under one of two shower heads, or a bath that looks out over the city.

“We’re super excited, they’ve nailed the plans,’’ Mr Portelli told the Herald Sun on Thursday.

“There’s big changes, it wasn’t a short process as we had a blank canvas and it was hard to get across how I envisioned it.”

Mr Portelli was quick to make headlines shortly after he was revealed as the buyer when he craned a McLaren sports car 57 floors up into the penthouse.

He expects it to be liveable in 6-8 months time but still plans to use it as a “weekender”.

“I can’t do the city,’’ he said.

Property records show the apartment was yet to reach settlement – that’s expected next year once a fit-out was completed.

“Here it is. The Penthouse design is now complete. Can’t wait for the housewarming,” he captioned his Instagram post, which has since received more than 30,000 likes and 1,000 comments.

“My lift will go to the bar and the restaurant of the hotel, but I’m not a big fan of living in the city, it might be my weekend retreat,’’ he said.

The property was quick to make headlines again shortly after Mr Portelli was revealed as the buyer.

In April, Portelli splashed across Melbourne’s media by craning a McLaren sports car 57 floors up into a new $39m penthouse that he claimed to have bought.

“It’s going to sit in the lounge room, I want it to be the first thing you see when you walk into the penthouse and you see the car and overlooking all of Melbourne,’’ he said at the time.

“I can’t drive it anyway, it is a race car and you can’t register it in Australia unfortunately. It’s sitting collecting dust back at my place so I might as well turn it into an art piece.”

The penthouse will also feature a pool.

The eye watering piece of real estate adds to Mr Portelli’s collection of 19 properties which are spread across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

Mr Portelli has recently made headlines after video surfaced of him and a group of men removing valuables from the Gisborne home he purchased on last year’s season of The Block.

The vision shows the group in March this year removing various items including up to $50,000 worth of wine, Smeg appliances, a robomower, meat smoker and a treadmill.

However Mr Portelli said he was targeted due to “tall poppy syndrome” and later took to social media to giveaway the “mystery home goods” through his company LMCT+.

Prior to this, he found himself in the spotlight after sharing he would rather pay tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees than cough up some cash for a hooning fine.

Mr Portelli is estimated to be worth more than $500 million and made his fortune through the growth of his auto enthusiast club LMCT+.
