The dangers of DIY teeth whitening

The search is on to find Tasmania’s best dentist and the practices whose hardworking staff go the extra mile to make sure their clients leave with the brightest pearly whites.

We put out the call and after hundreds of nominations, we narrowed it down to 50 contenders from across Tasmania according to our social media followers.

Now it’s your chance to vote, but you only have until Monday to help us crown Tassie’s very best dentist!

Debra Williams said of Dr Jay Kotay at Smithton Dental Clinic; “He is excellent at his job – repaired a large hole in a front tooth which happened suddenly (I thought I would have to have the tooth extracted), and also performed a double extraction on two large teeth, one being a wisdom tooth. No pain or after effects, and I have dreaded having to visit a dentist for years.”

“Ian Gurner and Sarah Brunskill at Ian Gurner Dental Care. Best experience I have ever had. Very caring, kind and professional,” Tracy Van Huissteden said.

Cheryl Clayton said Dr Shamiso Chakaipa at Oral Services Newtown “always makes my visits comfortable and we always end up with a laugh.”

Voting has been extended so get in quick!
