A court date has been set for a young Moonah man to stand trial for murder, after the death of a hospital escapee in January this year.
Shaun George Barrow is one of three men charged with the murder of 26 year old Nicholas Aaron Scott, which is alleged to have taken place on January 3.
Scott was found deceased outside a property in Granton hours after he’d escaped from prison guards at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Barrow pleaded not guilty to the murder of Scott in February.
On Thursday, Barrow, who is on bail, was committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court in November to answer to one charge of murder.
One of Barrow’s co-accused, Brock Callum Davey pleaded not guilty to Scott’s murder in March.
Collinsvale man David Ian Charles Coles has also been charged with murder.
