One of the three men charged with the murder of prison hospital escapee Nicholas Scott has now entered a plea. Here’s what happened in court.

A YOUNG Moonah man is expected to stand trial after pleading not guilty to the murder of prison hospital escapee Nicholas Aaron Scott.
On Friday, Shaun George Barrow – who is on bail – appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court and pleaded not guilty to the alleged murder dating back to January 3 this year.
He is one of three men accused of murdering Scott, whose body was found outside a Granton residence by police just hours after he escaped prison guards at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Magistrate Chris Webster heard the matter would return to court for preliminary proceedings, before being committed to the Supreme Court.
The 21-year-old will return to court on March 23, with his bail continuing.
Co-accused David Ian Charles Coles, 44, also appeared in court on Friday, but did not yet enter a plea to murder.
Mr Coles has also been charged with burglary, stealing, failure to appear and unlawful possession of property.
The Collinsvale resident appeared via video link, with his lawyer asking for an adjournment, and will return to court on March 15.
Last month, 20-year-old Brock Callum Davey appeared in court over the alleged murder of Scott, but also did not enter a plea.
The Granton resident is also yet to enter pleas on a raft of other charges dating back to January 3, including breaching a family violence order, possessing a firearm in contravention of a firearms prohibition order, and breaching bail.
It is understood Mr Davey was treated in hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries after the alleged Granton murder, and will appear in court again on March 24.
Scott’s hospital escape triggered a police manhunt when he fled the hospital about 10.50pm on January 2.
Police found him deceased about 1.30am the next morning after being called out to a firearms discharge on Black Snake Road.
