WE continue our series celebrating some of Hobart’s outstanding living high achievers.

We asked the city’s major schools and colleges to share their lists of outstanding alumni with us.

We invited them to submit between 10 and 50 of their most celebrated former students — names which they are proud to claim as their own.

Today’s featured school is The Friends’ School, an independent co-educational school in North Hobart which was founded by Quakers in 1887 and currently has more than 1300 students enrolled from pre-kindergarten to Year 12.

Here is the Friends’ list, ranked by senior Mercury editors in order of achievement.

Our series continues tomorrow with Rosny College.
