A LONG-RUNNING family business in Bellerive has been named the state’s best bakery in a Mercury poll.

Cripps Bakehouse Bellerive owner Linda Free was thrilled with the support shown for the business.

The bakery has been operating for 30 years.

“It’s fantastic and I just want to thank all our customers and everyone who voted … we’re extremely happy for the support especially in these tough times,” Mrs Free said.

Pigeon Whole Bakers in the Hobart CBD placed second in the poll, with Leslie Vale Bush Bakery in third and Jean-Pascal Patisserie in fourth.
