Smoke from bushfires menacing southern Tasmania has again shrouded Hobart, with a pall covering the Big Bash cricket match at Blundstone Arena.
The Tasmania Fire Service has issued a smoke alert for greater Hobart this afternoon.
People travelling in the area should exercise caution if driving in smoke and turn on their headlights.
