The Summit TV show contestant Glen Parkes slams previous winner SA’s Brooke Kilowsky

A reality TV show winner has been embroiled in a bitter stoush, with an upcoming contestant on the show saying he’d have to push her down a cliff.

A contestant on this year’s season of The Summit Australia has slammed last year’s South Australian-based winner, saying he could “push (her) down the cliff” after hearing her voice.

Glen ‘Sharksey’ Parkes, a self-proclaimed “unprofessional poker player”, took to an Instagram account on Friday slamming Brooke Kilowsky, 39, from South Australia – one of the show’s winners last year.

“There’s this woman that’s done like a psychological analysis on, f*** knows, previous seasons, and she thinks she’s worked me out,” he said.

“I’m telling y’all within two minutes of hearing your voice I would’ve either pushed you down the cliff or jumped off the cliff.

“F*** me, I don’t know how you got through, they must’ve been very tolerant people.

“Here’s my analysis, your voice, it must’ve f***** brain ‘deaded’ the other contestants.

“You wouldn’t have last two seconds with me … if you’re watching me like a hawk it’s probably because I’ll be pushing you down the hill.”

This came after Ms Kilowsky posted a preview video detailing her opinions on the upcoming contestants.

”I think he’s going to be juicy and really fun to watch,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to this one … I think he’ll be a fun one.

“I’d be watching him like a hawk.”

A profile on The Summit website says Mr Parkes, 30, is a “deep thinker, introverted with high morals”.

“So coming into a competition where you have to cut fellow hikers loose is going to be hard.

“Yet he knows you must do what you need to in order to get ahead.”

The page also states that Mr Parkes admits to being an “asshole”.

“I have the ability to be an asshole, but that’s not really me. I’d rather kill them with kindness. However, if I have to be an asshole, I can,” he told The Summit.

Ms Kilowsky, who won $150,000 after reaching the top of The Summit last year, told The Advertiser she was “completely shocked” to see the video Mr Parkes posted.

“I’m thrown by it all,” she said. “We should be saying no to this behaviour.”

Ms Kilowsky said she loved being a part of the show and started posting videos to Instagram talking about this season’s contestants for fun.

“I thought it was fun … I don’t say anything bad about anyone, it wasn’t even to upset him,” she said.

The champion from last year said she was upset by Mr Parkes’ comments regarding her voice.

“I felt a bit self conscious about my voice after that,” she said.

“I really hope he’s okay, maybe he’s having a hard time.

“People react in certain ways because of past trauma … you try to have a bit of an understanding but I don't think he should post it.”

Ms Kilowsky said this sort of behaviour should not be broadcast online and can have a negative influence on young people.

“Young people are watching this sort of behaviour by adults online,” she said.
