Wild late-night hooning in one of Adelaide’s premier suburbs has led to the report of two men, one of whom police allege has committed seven petrol drive offs in the past fortnight.

Two men have been reported after late-night hooning in Colonel Light Gardens led police to a suspect in seven petrol drive offs over the past fortnight.
Police were called to Seacombe Rd at Sturt just after 4am on Sunday after reports a car, which had been seen doing burnouts in Colonel Light Gardens the night before, had returned.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old from Semaphore Park, was found in the company of another vehicle.
Police spoke to both drivers at the scene and reported them for separate offences.
The 18-year-old, who was driving a Ford sedan, was reporting for breaching his P-plate conditions and for misuse of a motor vehicle.
The second driver of a grey Holden sedan, a 24-year-old man from Strathalbyn, was spoken to by police and further checks revealed he was wanted for seven petrol drive offs in the past fortnight.
He was reported for seven counts of making off without payment.
Both men will appear in court at a later date.
