An investigation is underway and more charges are likely for a 45-year-old Kings Meadows man who has been charged with 12 counts of burglary.

A KINGS Meadows man has been charged with 12 counts of burglary and 11 counts of stealing after a string of alleged car and shed break-ins across greater Launceston.

The 45-year-old man was arrested and appeared before the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday night following an “extensive” police investigation over recent months.
