Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 53-year-old man, missing from Mermaid Waters for almost a week, believed to be in the Stanthorpe area.

Tugun man Geoff Rayner, 53, was last seen on May 8 at Allandale Entrance, Mermaid Waters.

It is understood Mr Rayner left his phone and wallet at his home at the Gold Coast on May 8.
