Mr Kail’s stepdaughter has set up a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses for the beloved man.

“He was loved by many and I hate to ask anyone for any of this but due to this incident we’re asking for any donations to help towards laying Nick to rest,” Ms Duggan said.

“He was an encyclopaedia of knowledge when it came to Traffic Management and he was responsible for a lot of the successful people in the industry now,” Ms Fisher said.

“Nick was an excellent trainer and was the first trainer I hired for my business about 10 years ago.

“He is a huge loss both personally and professionally. We are all saddened by his passing. The shock has not left me yet.

“He was a wonderful father and husband, such a gentle man. I will miss him.”

“I just heard this, he was one of my mentors 10 (years) ago, a wealth of knowledge and a top bloke. R. I. P my friend you will be missed,” one commenter wrote.
