Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 53-year-old man, missing from Mermaid Waters for almost a week, believed to be in the Stanthorpe area.

Tugun man Geoff Rayner, 53, was last seen on May 8 at Allandale Entrance, Mermaid Waters.

It is understood Mr Rayner left his phone and wallet at his home at the Gold Coast on May 8.

Police and family hold concerns for Geoff’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
