Huon Valley ratepayers have not had elected representatives since October 6, 2016 when Local Government Minister Peter Gutwein sacked the council after a board of inquiry found it was beset by conflict and was dysfunctional.

Since then, Huon Valley commissioner Adriana Taylor has been in charge.

Mrs Enders, 49, who works at the Department of Justice as a change co-ordinator, has previously said she wanted to continue the standard set by Ms Taylor.

Huon Valley had 66 per cent of ballot papers returned.
