AN anti-vax doctor who lost his job for refusing the Covid jab will be campaigning for the seat of Franklin as the One Nation candidate at the upcoming Federal election.

Stephen Hindley was a GP for 34 years before having his licence suspended by the medical board over, he claims, the conspiracy theories he shared on his Facebook page.

Dr Hindley, now Mr Hindley, has expressed views online and in-person describing Covid-19 as a bioweapon deliberately unleashed on the public.

Mr Hindley believes that the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US were deliberately orchestrated to prepare people to accept Covid-19 and the subsequent vaccine rollout.

He also believes that Australian Federal Police are using microwave weapons against anti-vax protesters to silence dissenters.

He has also described Mark Zuckerberg as a “Hebe”, which is a Jewish slur short for Hebrew

Mr Hindley will be running mates with Steve Mav, who is One Nation’s top pick for the Tasmanian Senate.

The party’s biggest election promise will be to build four “super-health clinics” in Tasmania, funded by scrapping Tasmania’s Battery of the Nation renewable energy project.

“We need a revamp of the health system, and there’s going to be one if One Nation gets in,” Mr Hindley said.

“I’d also like to see an inquiry and royal commission into the way Covid has been handled… we need answers.”

Steve Mav is famous for standing at the sides of busy highways waving his big orange political placards, and says he will continue doing so even if elected to the Senate.

Mr Mav has also shared conspiracy theories on his Facebook page and expressed his personal distaste for greenies, cyclists, “climatards”, and vaccines.

He’s also shared pictures of Australia stamped with the words “bugger off, we’re full” on his Facebook page, and he firmly opposes so-called mass immigration.

Despite his conspiratorial beliefs he has received ringing endort from One Nation’s Pauline Hanson, and in turn he fully endorses Mr Hindley as his running mate.

“We’ve got someone who’s a health expert and someone we’re relying on to help us implement our 24/7 super-health clinics for Tasmania,” Mr Mav said.

Citizen journalist Samuel Mazur, who provided The Mercury with video evidence of Mr Hindley’s conspiracy beliefs, said he was shocked by what he’d found.

Mr Mazur has collected hours upon hours of footage with Hobart conspiracy theorists, and said Mr Hindley was fairly representative of them.

“He reflected a lot of the base ideas and concepts around these conspiracy theories quite well,” Mr Mazur said.

“It’s not the most common perspective, but I almost feel sorry for them.”
