Six teens have been charged for allegedly stealing two cars from the Gold Coast and taking them on a joy ride to Brisbane.

SIX teens have been charged for allegedly stealing two cars from the Gold Coast and taking them on a joyride to Brisbane.

Police will alleged that a Range Rover and a BMW were stolen from a Maryland Ave, Carrara home about 10.10pm on Saturday.

The cars were tracked travelling at speed through Coomera before getting on the M1 and heading towards Brisbane.

Police deployed tyre deflation devices on Mount Gravatt Capalaba Rd, Wishart about 1.30am on Sunday.

Police will allege the teens abandoned the cars on Willet St and fled on foot.

Dog squad officers tracked the group to Milanion Crest, Carindale.

Two 15-year-old Pimpama boys, a 15-year-old Runaway Bay boy, a 17-year-old Marsden boy, a 15-year-old Peranga boy and a 14-year-old Oxenford boy have been charged with one count of burglary and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Five of the juveniles will appear at Brisbane Children’s Court on Monday and the sixth will appear at Brisbane Children’s court on August 12.
