Mudgeeraba’s Nicolas Thuret of Gold Coast’s My Favourite Baker launches same day cake delivery service

A Gold Coast bakery says it's taken advantage of a gap in the market with great success.

MUDGEERABA baker Nicolas Thuret is sweetening the dessert deal with a new same day cake delivery service.

After being in the industry for years, Mr Thuret realised there was a gap in the market for a quick and easy sugar hit, launching My Favourite Baker just in time for Easter.

“We have been making cakes for a long time and realised most cake makers were doing very similar things,” he said.

“We wanted to offer something different to our customers, offering same day delivery on weekdays and next day delivery on weekends.

“Just jump on our website, choose a cake, size and date.”

Creations include the latest social-media sensation pull-me-up cakes, with the frosting or sauce suspended in a clear collar ready to be released in the ultimate Instagram moment.

“We worked really hard to have the perfect recipes,” Mr Thuret said.

“We update our cakes on a weekly basis, so keep an eye on our Instagram for the latest specials.

“We are offering three cakes for this Easter: Kinder Bunny with oozing Nutella sauce, KitKat nest with Malteser eggs and our pull-me-up Easter egg cake with special Nutella sauce and a Cadbury egg on top.”
