Paramour Cabaret kicks off Christmas Extravaganza at Brothers Leagues Club Cairns

Paramour Cabaret will kick off the festive season for those who have been both naughty and nice, with an X-rated show at Brothers League’s Club Cairns, this weekend. What to expect.

Kicking off the festive season in style, Paramour Cabaret will present its final show of the year, Paramour Cabaret Christmas Extravaganzam, on Saturday night.

Paramour Cabaret director and host Wes Evans said the event, hosted at Brother’s League’s Club Cairns, would be one to remember.

“We start the night of with Christmas music to get festivities flowing, then typical (host) Sylvester Valentine comes in and gets progressively more debaucherous through the night,” Mr Evans said.

The adults-only event will feature a variety of acts including burlesque performances, drag performances, comedy, cabaret numbers and more.

“The theme is naughty and nice so we have a burlesque performer with two new routines and we’ve got some new drag numbers,” he said.

“There’s lots to come and see, even if you’ve seen the show before.”

He said it was the perfect event for a night with friends or co-workers.

“It’s a good night out to let your hair down, have a few cocktails,” he said.

“It’s a bit of fun and you can’t go wrong with that, especially at this time of year.”

Mr Evans said the event was quickly selling out, with capacity already at 75 per cent.

“It’s one night only – a banquet and a show,” he said.

The banquet will begin at 6.30pm, followed by the cabaret at 8pm.
