'This enrages me': 'Rage bait' shoppers know all too well
“There has to be a better system. I hate it.”
There are a few major differences between shopping at retailers like Mecca and Sephora, compared to places like Chemist Warehouse and Priceline.
The first one, of course, is the price point. The brands are also entirely different.
But, there’s one thing in particular that shoppers have had enough of - and seriously, there has to be a better way.

TikTok creator @caishadanielle has taken to TikTok to expose one of the most annoying things about shopping at Chemist Warehouse - the security stickers.
“I’m sick and f*cking tired of this shit,” she says.
“There has to f*cking be a better system because look at me trying to peel that off. Unsuccessful.”
And, she said even if she does get it off, it’s only downhill from there.
“Even if I am successful, I’m gonna have the shittiest little pile of disgusting glue on my little makeup for the rest of time, and it's literally never gonna come up. It’s actually going to collect things and stick to it, and it’s gonna be so disgusting and overstimulating,” she said.
“There has to be a better system. I hate it.”

Commenters on the post shared her frustrations, detailing their own gripes with the stickers.
“Omg this literally enrages me too!! Is it really necessary?” said one person.
“Ohhh this literally makes me rage! Especially when you have bought something new and then you need to use it when you are getting ready in a rush…NUP,” another said.
“It’s always so hard to get off, and then it looks so dirty after bc you can never get the stickiness off,” said a third.
Others said that it’s not just Chemist Warehouse who do it - throwing Priceline under the bus.
“Priceline deserves jail for this too, like sorry, why does my brow pencil need 20 of those security tags and a layer of tape thicker than my skull,” one person said.
“We did the same thing at Priceline. We hate it just as much,” another agreed.
They have a purpose!!
Of course, these things do have a purpose, and act as security guards to prevent these items from being stolen - and a few people did see the win here.
“But at least you know no one used the product and put it back,” said one.
But seriously, is there no other way to do it?
