A mum has shocked the internet after revealing she burst blood vessels in her face while giving birth to her four-and-a-half kilo baby boy
New mum Maira welcomed her son to the world earlier this month, but revealed in a TikTok video her labour was anything but normal.
The Sun reports Maira pushed so hard that not only did she burst blood vessels, she also had blood “coming out of her eyes”.

Maira began her video showing her husband straightening her hair before her contractions, before cutting to a shot of her grimacing during a contraction.
"I gave birth to the biggest baby that day - exploding every blood vessel in my face," she wrote over the top.
She then showed off her ruddy complexion to the camera, but it was her eyes that caused the biggest shock, as the whites were completely red.

"Did you hold your breath… like I am curious!! And me just over here 6 months preggo, lol!"
To which Maira replied: "Yes I held my breath and pushed hard not caring of nothing.
"I just wanted him out because it was hurting me so much. I had blood coming out of my eyes."
"JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I COULDN'T BE MORE HORRIFIED," another added.
"The GASP I let out when you showed your eyes," a third wrote.
With Maira responding: "Yeah I done the same when I seen myself!"
"The way my jaw dropped when I saw your eyes..!! GIRL!!!" someone else commented.

Other commenters shared their ‘big baby stories’.
“I delivered my daughter at 38 weeks … 11lbs 10oz … the NICU said ‘your toddler is over there’,” one woman wrote.
“Mine was 10.5lbs and the doc asked if I had a backpack because he’s ready for school,” another laughed.
"I held my breath my partner said I was turning blue I was pushing that hard," someone else commented.
Maira ended the video by showing off her baby boy looking around the room as she supported his head.
She also revealed her son had to wear socks on his hands because he was too big for his mittens.
