Mum shares ‘genius’ solution to tradies needing to use the loo in your house

"They are human too!" someone said after hearing the controversial idea. 

It's likely a tradie will want to go to the toilet while they are working at your place.

But suddenly, you're faced with a dilemma.

Do you let them inside or politely suggest they find a nearby public bathroom?

One mum thinks she's found the perfect solution that avoids this conversation altogether.

"I don’t want them coming inside my house"

The Aussie took to the Kmart Mums Facebook group to share her find—the Kmart $29 Folding Camp Toilet.

"I have tradespeople working on my outdoor patio for the next six weeks," she explained. "I don’t want them coming inside my house and getting their dirty boots all over my white carpet."

The item's description on the Kmart website reads: "Portable comfort wherever you wander! Our Folding Camp Toilet combines convenience and space-saving design for your outdoor adventures."

The camping item is also said to be "durable, lightweight and compact", making it perfect for "hiking, backpacking, caravanning, camping and emergency situations."

"Not to be used as a permanent structure," the description warns.

"They are human too"

Almost immediately, the post was flooded with comments from people strongly advising the mum against the idea.

"They would probably rather drive to the local shop or servo!" someone said. "Or else they'd have to do their business in public in your backyard."

"They are human too. Just ask them to take their boots off?" another suggested.

Then this person added: "Good luck emptying their poo! You supply it, you clean it."

"I'm not sure I could handle emptying the dunny can," someone else chimed in.

Then this person quipped, "I'm sorry, but if your floors are imported from Milan, you have the money to hire out a porter potty you tightarse."

Only one person out of the 200+ comments agreed with the mum that it's a good idea.

They wrote: "I would do the same. I hate it when people come inside my house. Some people would pee all over the floor and put dirt all over the floor."
