Lindsay Lohan has embraced her post-baby body and shared a postpartum selfie that's making mums everywhere breathe a sigh of relief.

The Freaky Friday star and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed their baby boy, Luai, last month and now the 37-year-old actress has given fans a glimpse into her recovery.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Lohan, described having a baby as "the greatest joy in the world" as she shared a casual selfie rocking postpartum underwear.

She also casually dropped in a hilarious Mean Girls reference that was so grool.

"I'm not a regular mum"

In the post, Lohan is glowing and smiling while wearing a baby blue cropped singlet and some Frida Mom disposable postpartum underwear.

Her postpartum belly is on full display and we couldn't be more grateful for this realistic depiction of what a post-baby body looks like. It's definitely refreshing coming from such a huge celebrity!

Looking fresh-faced and makeup-free, the actress captioned the lo-fi mirror selfie: "I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery."

She added: "Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!"

"My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mum, I’m a postpartum mum."

That last part is obviously a reference to the iconic Mean Girls line, "I'm not a regular mum, I'm a cool mum."

"Thank you for showing realness"

Lohan's fans, friends and family rushed to the comments, telling her she looks beautiful and thanking her for the realistic photo.

Oh, and of course there were plenty more Mean Girls references!

Lohan's mum Dina Lohan said, "You look beautiful with a mummy’s glow... he is so gorgeous and such a beautiful gift to us all... what a beautiful thing I saw as you and our lil blessing bonded... miracles happen my love."

Then her Mean Girls costar Jonathan Bennet aka Aaron Samuels wrote: "You've never looked more beautiful."

Meanwhile, Julia Fox wrote: "Congratulations!! You're gonna be such an amazing mummy."

"Thank you for showing the realness ❤️ It sucks seeing all these celebrities 'snapping back' to a six-pack after a month postpartum," another commenter replied.

Then this person joked: "I saw Cady Heron wearing Frida Mom underwear so I started wearing Frida mom underwear 💁🏽‍♀️"

And finally, Frida Mom commented: "On Wednesdays we wear @fridamom."

"Over the moon in love"

Lohan first announced her pregnancy on Instagram on March 14 with a photo of a baby onesie saying 'Coming soon'.

And while the exact date of their child's birth hasn't been announced, Lindsay and Bader confirmed the baby was born in Dubai and has been given the name "Luai", an Arabic name that translates to "shield" or "protector".

"Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai," a rep confirmed to People.

"The family is over the moon in love."
