Kmart has done it again, launching another viral product that has TikTok fashion creators in a frenzy and posting change room hauls and styling videos for their thousands of followers.

The item in question is a pair of trackpants called the Kmart Side Stripe Pants, which bear a striking resemblance to the $170 P.E. Nation Tricot Trackpant in Dark Navy.

Priced at just $25 and available in navy, black, brown, and grey, these pants are quickly becoming a must-have for those wanting to achieve high-end street style on a budget.

Social media influencer Laura Elizabeth, who boasts 57,000 followers, recently took to Instagram to share her excitement about the find, which comes in sizes 6 to 20.

“I think I found the cutest pants at Kmart today,” she exclaimed. “They’re giving sporty luxe, they’re giving PE Nation, they’re giving model-off-duty vibes”.

Ms Elizabeth says she opted to size up for a more relaxed fit, making them a bit baggier to give off an effortless vibe.

“These are sick. For 25 bucks, I saw them and thought, no way,” she added.

A Kmart spokesperson told news.com.au that the pants aim to blur the line between loungewear and street style and “are a sleek take on the athleisure trend that continues to dominate wardrobes”.

The pintuck detail and side stripe are a nod to classic tailoring, adding an elevated edge to these relaxed-fit pants.

They’re also designed with comfort in mind, featuring a pull-on elastic waistband and convenient side pockets.

“The popularity of these pants speaks to the ongoing demand for versatile, off-duty styles that feel as good as they look,” the spokesperson continued.

“Kmart is tapping into sport-luxe trends, where relaxed silhouettes meet refined details. Whether styled with crisp white sneakers and a fitted tee for an everyday weekend look or dressed up with a structured blazer and loafers for a modern workwear twist, these pants prove that casualwear can be effortlessly chic.”

Others have shared how they’ve styled the pants, including lifestyle influencer Graciemae Sinclaire, who bought them in three colours.

First, she showed her fans how she paired the black pants with a $15 oversized graphic T-shirt, also from Kmart, for a casual, errand-ready outfit.

She then tried the grey pair on with Kmart’s $25 long sleeve white shirt for a chic office-appropriate outfit.

“Get to Kmart and you can thank me later,” she told her 20,000 followers.

Another fashion lover, Nicole Doherty, joined in on the trend, styling the grey pants with a white T-shirt, a grey sweater casually tied over her shoulders, a tan cap, and brown sunglasses.

“Got my cool mum vibe on,” she wrote.

The comments across all the videos echoed the same sentiment, agreeing that these pants are a must-have for autumn and winter.

“OMG, I need them in RED,” one user commented.

“YASSSS, I purchased the choccie brown ones! They’re so nice, seriously,” another added.

“You’re making me spend more money,” a user joked.

“Kmart is slaying!” someone else chimed in.
