It was alleged the former reality star turned radio host had called it quits with her boyfriend of 10 months on Monday.

The pair, who are in an open relationship, have not confirmed reports they have separated which appeared on Daily Mail Australia.

Shortly after, a paparazzi photo taken of Abbie in the street outside her Sydney home emerged.

The image showed the podcast host wearing a bright bathrobe as she chatted on the phone looking visibly sad and frustrated.

However, the Hot Nights With Abbie Chatfield host has shut down suggestions she was “dishevelled” as a result of her split – telling her Hit Network listeners the truth about the photo.

Rather than crying over her rumoured break-up, Abbie revealed her tears were over the fact she had not been nominated for an Australian Commercial Radio Award.

“I’m pretty angry about it, and of course I have paparazzi photos of me looking ‘dishevelled’ when I was just crying about the lack of nominations and I felt like I wasn’t valued by my community of radio,” the 27-year-old said.

She said she thought she was going to be praised for something in a legitimate way “for once” and the last time she felt she was praised was when she won I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in 2021.

She joked that she didn’t get nominated because she talks about her “hard nipples” a lot on air.

The images surfaced as rumours began to swirl that Abbie and boyfriend Konrad Bień-Stephen have split.

The report also alleged Konrad, who is currently overseas filming Channel 10’s new reality show The Challenge, has already moved on with Bachelor alum Megan Marx who he met on set.

Abbie and Konrad announced they were in an open relationship since months ago

Abbie took to social media to address the rumours on Monday, telling fans she’s “totally okay”.

“I’ve seen the articles about Konrad,” her post read.

“He’s out of the country so I won’t be commenting on anything until he’s home.

“Can everyone not be so dramatic pls and relax.

“Both of us are totally okay.”

Abbie also asked the paparazzi to get their daily photo of her “picking up dog poo” and “let me get a coffee in peace”.

It comes just six months after the pair went public about their “non-monogamous” relationship – which was met with an onslaught of unsolicited criticism.
