Abbie Chatfield responds to ‘break-up’ with boyfriend Konrad

Abbie Chatfield has responded to rumours she and boyfriend Konrad have split – six months after the pair went public with their open relationship.

Abbie Chatfield has responded to claims she and boyfriend Konrad Bień-Stephen have split, telling fans she’s “totally okay”.

Reports the pair – who were in an “open relationship” – had called it quits began circulating on Monday after “two separate sources” confirmed the break-up toDaily Mail Australia.

It was also alleged Konrad, who is currently overseas filming Channel 10’s new reality show The Challenge, has already moved on with Bachelor alum Megan Marx who he met on set.

Abbie, 27, has now taken to social media to address the claims in a cryptic post that appears to hint there’s truth to the claims.

“I’ve seen the articles about Konrad,” it reads.

“He’s out of the country so I won’t be commenting on anything until he’s home.

“Can everyone not be so dramatic pls and relax.

“Both of us are totally okay.”

Abbie also asks the paparazzi to get their daily photo of her “picking up dog poo” and “let me get a coffee in peace”.

The shock announcement comes just six months after the pair went public about their “non-monogamous” relationship – which was met with an onslaught of unsolicited criticism.

However, the new Masked Singer panellist recently revealed the pair hardly see each other, catching up just two days a week.

“I’ve never been upset or threatened by someone (I’m in a relationship with) sleeping with someone else. It’s my kink. I just never really valued monogamy that much,” she told Stellar magazine.

“It sounds awful, but I don’t really see him all that much, maybe two days a week. I don’t know if it’s scarcity, but he’s very good at communicating, and so am I.”

The couple first spoke out about their open relationship in February, sparking a barrage of criticism online that Abbie labelled “embarrassing”.

“Some of you f**kers are so embarassingly triggered because you’re so insecure, you’re like ‘but if you love someone’, not me, not him,” she said on an episode of her popular podcast It’s A Lot.

“It’s fine, if that’s how you feel, be monogamous, love that for you

“But why do you care if I f**k someone else or he f**ks someone else.”

Abbie has been open about the highs and lows of being non-monogamous, most recently revealing she’d “finally” had sex with someone else.

The reality star turned influencer and panellist proudly announced during a podcast episode that she’d got some action outside of the relationship, talking about her night at the 2022 Logies on the Gold Coast.

“I finally rooted someone which is nice. Good for me,” she said.
