MELBOURNE-BASED electronic six piece Northeast Party House, whose dance floor bangers include Magnify, Calypso Beach and Dominos, has rescheduled its Shelf Life tour for a second time.
Most of the 2020s tours, events and festivals were canned earlier in the year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but artists are now lining up shows for 2021 as the music industry looks to build momentum again.
Northeast Party House, known for electrifying live performances, has now booked Hobart’s Uni Bar for May 17 as part of its seven date national tour.
A spokesman for the band said: “This year has been bullshit, but the d-floor beers at the end of the tunnel will taste all the sweeter when we get there.”
“We can’t thank those who have been buying tickets, merch and streaming our music over this period enough.
“You’re all absolute legends and it means a lot to us.”
The Shelf Life tour celebrates of the band’s third studio album and most acclaimed to date.
Previously purchased tickets to the now rescheduled shows will automatically roll over to the new dates and venues.
Refunds can be obtained directly through the point of purchase.
As a taste of what’s to come, Northeast Party House have announced that they will be treating fans to a special virtual warehouse party recorded in the very place Shelf Life was written.
At 9pm on September 25, the band will play a few select picks from their third studio album and some fan favourites from the band’s previous albums.
The night will wrap up with a special DJ Set.
