PARTYGOERS blew the roof off for the final day of Party in the Apocalypse, which reached full capacity with 5000 attendees on Saturday.

Party organiser Jesse Higgs said the vibes were off the charts for the first Party in the Apocalypse festival.

“Honestly, mate, it’s been such an amazing event. We’re so happy with the warm welcome we’ve received coming to Hobart for the first time,” Mr Higgs said.

“There’s a lot of friendly, familiar faces that used to come to Party in the Paddock that have turned up to support us.”

Party in the Paddock came to a sad end in 2020, only to be revived with a suitably apocalypse-themed event in 2022 amid the pandemic.

Mr Higgs said these were uncertain times, but that they would most definitely be coming back to Hobart for another round of partying.

“All-round it’s just been awesome,” Mr Higgs said.

“We’re going to reset after this and work out what we’re going to be doing for next summer.”
