Welcome to the Trading Day blog for Wednesday, October 24. The ASX 200 index has hit a two-week low, now down 0.1 per cent to 8201.70 points at 3pm AEDT, with tech and energy stocks leading falls.

The Aussie dollar is trading around US66.80c.
