A 17-year-old boy will face the Toowoomba Children’s Court in April charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and unlicensed driving.
Police will allege the boy crashed a gold-coloured Ford Territory into a silver Toyota Yaris that was parked on Campbell Street, in Newtown about 2pm today.
The boy continued driving before crashing into a tree and a low-set fence, in Gaydon Street.
He was the sole occupant of the Territory.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the boy for minor injuries, but he declined their offer of a ride to the Toowoomba Hospital.
The vehicle was not reported stolen.
Police investigations continue and anyone with information, including dashcam footage, is asked to phone Policelink on 131 444.
