Truck rollover at Athol blocks Gore Highway traffic
Police have opened up a slip lane to allow traffic to pass after a truck rolled and came to rest across the Gore Highway, south of Toowoomba.

A driver was lucky to walk away from a truck rollover with only minor injuries, as work continues to remove the wreck from the road.
The man, aged in his 30s, rolled a prime mover on the Gore Highway at Athol about 12.20pm on Tuesday.
The vehicle came to rest across the highway blocking north and southbound traffic.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police opened a traffic diversion alongside the wreck to allow vehicles to move through.
Meanwhile, Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the driver for minor cuts and bruising.
The crash also resulted in a small diesel spill that was removed by Queensland Fire and Rescue personnel.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as it could take several hours to remove the wreckage.
