A Goondiwindi woman accused of murdering 25-year-old Thor Morgan will stand trial after a drawn-out legal hearing.

Tina Kathleen Hazard will face Supreme Court on one charge of murder after her legal team conceded a prima facie case against the 37-year-old mum.

Ms Hazard appeared before Toowoomba Magistrates Court on December 20 for the conclusion of a committal hearing that began on December 10.

The case was delayed part-heard after one witness failed to show on the original hearing date.

Ms Hazard is accused alongside Lachlan Mark Freund of causing the death of Toowoomba man Thor Morgan in the early hours of March 15, 2022.

Police allege Mr Morgan was being followed by a stolen utility vehicle when he was shot in the head.

The young man then fled to his girlfriend’s home where he was quickly taken to hospital with a bullet lodge in his brain.

He died two months later in May, 2022.

At the conclusion of the witness’s evidence on Friday, barrister Jessica Horne accepted, at first glance, there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.

Mr Freund’s murder charge was committed to the Supreme Court late last year.

Ms Hazard was committed to the Supreme Court on one count of murder and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A further charge of unlawful possession of a weapon was adjourned to June 25, 2025 in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court.

No pleas were entered.

Ms Hazard will remain in custody awaiting trial.
