Mr Seymour’s charges include four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offence).

No details of the police allegations have as yet been aired in court but the fact the charges are before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court indicates the incidents were alleged to have taken place in the Toowoomba jurisdiction.

Mr Seymour has not as yet been required to enter any pleas to the charges and remains on bail.

Mr Corbin asked the court for a four-week adjournment so as to take instructions from his client.

Magistrate Clare Kelly therefore excused Mr Seymour’s appearance and remanded him on bail with all charges adjourned for mention back in the same court on August 29.
