The second round of the Toowoomba cricket two-day season took place over the last two weekends and there were stunning pieces of individual brilliance, with impressive knocks and blistering spells of bowling.

We have run the rule across the competition and named our dream team, featuring five batters, an all-rounder, a wicketkeeper, four bowlers and a 12th man.

Check out the team below.

1. Kahlem Reardon (Met-Easts, Reserve grade)

Reardon opens the batting in this week’s dream team after he scored an impressive 52 runs off 82 balls.

2. Jacob Jeans (Northern Brothers Diggers, B-grade)

Jeans joins Reardon at the top of the order after his strong performance with the bat across two innings.

In his first dig, he scored a solid 30 runs, but in his second outing, he put on a show, blasting his way to 78 runs off just 64 balls.

To put the cherry on top, he also chipped in with two wickets.

3. Brian May (Wests, A-grade)

There are few things certain in life, but Brian May forcing his way into a TCI team of the week is one of them.

May showed his class scoring an unbeaten 60 runs off 116 balls.

4. David Callick (Souths, Reserve grade)

Callick’s stunning 92 runs from 97 balls is enough for him to earn a spot at second drop in the round 2 dream team.

5. Lachlan Glenn (Met-Easts Gold, B-grade)

Glenn comes in at number five after an exceptional performance with the bat.

The Trojans batter scored an unbeaten 115 runs off 120 balls, hitting 12 fours and four sixes along the way.

6. Aidan Watterson (Northern Brothers Diggers, A-grade)

Watterson takes the all-rounder’s spot in this week's team after his impressive performance, scoring 52 runs and claiming four scalps across two innings.

7. Chris Leonard (Souths, B-grade)

Leonard is the wicketkeeper for the round 2 team after he made two dismissals and scored a solid 39 runs.

8. Todd Hamlet (Northern Brothers Diggers, B-grade)

Hamlet put in the best individual performance across the three grades and is the first of the bowlers in this list.

Hamlet was near-unstoppable as he took 5-26 off 18.4 overs at a tidy economy rate of just 1.39 runs per over.

However, his impact was felt with more than just the ball as he also scored a game-changing 58 runs from 35 balls to take his side from 6-128 to 7-202.

9. Jordan Sondergeld (Northern Brothers Diggers, A-grade)

Met-Easts had no answer for Sondergeld as he ripped through the Trojans’ batting order, taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings and picking up another wicket in the second to end with match figures of 6-64.

10. Blake Murray (Met-Easts Gold, B-grade)

It was a game to remember for Murray as almost single-handedly put his team on his back in the quest for an unlikely victory.

Needing to defend a meagre total of just 79 runs, the Trojans had their work cut out for them but Murray refused to go down without a fight as he blitzed through the University batting line-up with figures of 7-50.

Ultimately it was not enough to avoid defeat as Uni scored 130 runs before being bowled out but it was a simply amazing spell of bowling from Murray.

11. Ryan Ward (Wests, A-grade)

Ward is the final bowler in the round 2 dream team after he took an impressive 5-50 from 19 overs in his side’s win against University.

12th man. Patrick Turner (Highfields, A-grade)

Turner is the 12th man for this team after his heroic effort with the bat and solid performance with the ball.

Batting at number 10, Turner scored an unbeaten 67 runs from 98 balls to guide the Bulldogs to a competitive first innings total of 8-229.

He then chipped in with 2-25 from 13 overs to help Highfields to an unlikely victory against Souths.
