The Toowoomba Twisters are ready to take on the best rep teams South East Queensland and the rest of the Sunshine State has to offer.

After shining a light on the rep program’s Inclusion squads, we’re turning our attention to the Open, Senior and Masters Mixed sides as well as the Women’s 35s and Men’s 45s teams.

Here’s our look at the key players and X-factor stars you need to watch.

Mixed Open

Jake Notley: Jake brings World Cup Open Men’s experience as well as an abundance of speed and agility.

A true game breaker who will be a key figure.

Sam Carmody: An underrated star, the former Queensland Open Mixed captain has the ability to tear teams apart with his attacking prowess.

X-Factors

Tess Notley: A quiet achiever with some of the best footwork in the game. Her agility is electric and always troubles opposition defenders.

Ben and Matt Moore: The brothers know each other’s games inside out and expertly utilise their different strengths to form a lethal combination.

Womens 35s

Kellie Ryan: Having recently returned from the World Cup, Kellie brings a wealth of knowledge and drive to the team and is a tenacious defender.

Stacey Hancock: An experienced player who brings consistency and a level of resolve to any team she plays in.

She’s strong defensively, and expertly guides her teams around the park.

X-Factors

Lauren Potter: One of the best female players to come out of our region.

She’s quick, strong and crafty with the ball in hand.

Lily Singh: An experienced star with a calm head who expertly reads the game.

Lily finds the line with ease and runs amazing lines.

Mixed Senior

Steve Barrett: Always one of the fittest players on the field, Steve is a work horse.

He will get the team going forward and has great pace at the line.

Jade Hose: New on the rep but brings plenty of tenacity and determination.

She has strong a skill set and does not shy away from hard work.

X-Factors

Cameron Moodie: Possesses an excellent long ball and when he spots a player advantage he will destroy teams with the killer pass.

Josh Waters: Josh is blisteringly quick and agile.

If Josh can play off the back of ruck flow, he can tear teams apart with his pace and running game.

Masters Mixed

Craig Hubbard: Brings a wealth of experience and a calm head to the team and directs the team around the park well.

Hannah Arndt: A defensive rock – her reads are amazing, and she possess great pace.

X-Factors

Scott Pierce: One of the team’s leaders, Scott is super competitive and possesses a fantastic footy IQ.

Andrew Ryan: Has the pace and agility to really dominate at this level.

Watch for him at the line with his sharp footwork and ability to expose defensive structures.

Mens 45s

Troy Morgan: A legend of the sport who possesses a tremendous motor to keep going throughout tournament touch.

He will lead the team with confidence.

Dan Mathison: A player with pace to burn who will make a huge impact.

X-Factors

Craig Searston: One of the smartest touch players going around.

He possesses a classy skill set and can set up tries on a platter for his teammates.

Alky Hinch: Plays eyes-up footy, backs himself and can single-handedly take a game away from the opposing team.
