SQUASH : Toowoomba Squash will break into an early festive mode when it hosts a squash meet-and-greet day at its James St centre this Saturday.

All members and competition players are invited to take part in the afternoon activities from 2-4pm.

Free squash will be available to all players keen to have a hit before the day winds up at 4pm with a barbecue and party.

Former champion Toowoomba player, squash ambassador and current administrator Robyn Prentice will attend the day.

Prentice is head coach of Q Squash Southern Region Inc and Queensland Masters Squash Association president.

“The committee has organised a meet and greet for end-of-year activities for club members and friends of Toowoomba Squash,” Prentice said.

“They would like to put a call out for former squashies to come down and say hi, even if they don’t care to play on the day.

“Toowoomba Squash courts have been totally transformed with the help of more than 20 volunteers with nine operational courts.”

More information and RSVP for Saturday’s activities are available at Toowoomba Squash and on Facebook.
