McKee is coming off a massive bag of 10 in the round 10 domination of Glenmore Bulls, claiming a 128-point victory.

Sitting on 37 goals for the season, McKee is just six goals away from last year and 2022 tally as he chases triple digits for the first time, breaking his best return of 98 goals in 2021.

2. Timothy Higgins – Glenmore Bulls – 20 goals

Second place and sitting 17 goals behind first is Tim Higgins, with the power forward averaging 2.22 goals a game for the Bulls.

Higgins didn’t play in the round 10 loss to the Swans, but his best return came in round 9 against BITS Saints with four.

3. Jamie Hill – Gladstone Suns – 19 goals

Just one goal behind second placed Higgins, Hill has kicked 10 goals over the past four weeks, with two games being kept goalless.

His best return came in round 7 against Rockhampton Panthers with 6 but has a long way to go if he wants to beat his overall best of 78 in 2017 in the under 17s, but is likely to beat his seniors best of 26 he kicked last season.

4. Matt Wallin – Yeppoon Swans – 17 goals

The Swans premiership skipper is 20 goals behind his teammate but it wouldn’t be too much of a concern as his side remains undefeated in 2024.

Wallin kicked six in round 7, his best return for the season, which has also seen him kick 12 of his 17 goals in the last four weeks.

5. Philip Solomon – Gladstone Suns – 17 goals

Equal fourth, the Suns second leading goal kicker was in full flight in round 5 where he kick a bag of nine against Brothers Kangaroos in a 46 point win.

Solomon hasn’t been sighted since their round 6 loss to Yeppoon where he kicked just the two goals.

Last years Matthew Walsh medallist has kicked clear on the goal kicking leaderboard after being stuck with a pack around him for the first five rounds.

Since going goalless in round 5, he has had returns of six, eight, three and then five before the NQ v SQ clash to take him eight clear on top as he looks to claim back-to-back goal kicking trophies.

2. Darcy Morris – Cairns City Lions – 24 goals.

Not usually known for his goal kicking but in 2024, Morris has snuck forward to kick a few bags this season.

Since moving to Cairns in 2020, Morris has kicked a combined 44 goals from 2020 to 2023, this year alone he has already kicked the most in a season for the midfielder which included a bag a nine in the round 4 thumping of Manunda Hawks.

3. Fitzroy Greenwool – North Cairns Tigers – 22 goals

The Tigers half-forward, midfield bull has taken his game to a new level in 2024 as he looks to help end the Tigers 36-year premiership drought.

Greenwool has played just the seven games for his 22 goals which have included a six goal game against last years grand finalists and three bags of four.

4. Ezekiel Frank – Manunda Hawks – 19 goals

In just the six games this season he has laced up for, he has kicked the 19 goals, which have included a season high of five against Cairns City Lions in round 8 with a bag of four against South Cairns Cutters in round 4.

AFL Darling Downs – Round 11

1. Daniel Brown – Hawks – 24 goals

It was round the round 3 domination from inside 50 that has placed Daniel Brown on top of the leaderboard.

He booted nine goals in the Hawks win over the Redbacks and has remained on top of the leaderboard ever since, but can he have a stronger second half of the year to try and crack the 50 goals this season.

2. Charlie Farrer – Hawks – 20 goals

Another fellow Hawk kicking bags and helping the Hawks chase the ultimate success this season.

His biggest tally came in the round 2 win over South Toowoomba Bombers where he booted seven goals, ultimately being the difference as his side won by 37 points.

3. Rohan Drummond – Tigers – 17 goals

Drummond has played just the five games for his 17 goals, it would be interesting to see where he would be if he played in the other four games for his club, seeing as he is only seven goals behind and two games less than Brown.

He kicked a bag of five, his biggest return this season, in round 5 and has added two bags of four and a day out on three with just the one goal in round 8.

4. Jacob Sheath – Coolaroo – 14 goals

Sheath had a day out himself in round 3 when he kicked seven goals against the second placed Tigers, ultimately giving the Tigers their first loss of the season.

His best return for a season is 42 and with seven rounds to go he will need to average four goals a game to equal that return.

5. Ryan Hodgson – South Toowoomba Bombers – 12 goals

Not your traditional forward but with the Bombers sitting at level pegging midway through the season, Hodgson is a standout and key to them remaining inside the top four.

In two out the three games Hodgson has been kept goalless, the Bombers have claimed victory, with the loss coming at the hands of Coolaroo by just four points.

AFL Mackay – Round 11

1. Joel Mitchell – Mackay Magpies – 39 goals.

Mitchell started the year off channelling his inner Jason Dunstall with bags of eight in round 1, nine in round 2 and 14 against Mackay City Hawks in round 3.

2. Fraser Carroll – Whitsunday Sea Eagles – 15 goals.

Carroll sits a massive 24 goals behind Mitchell in the goal kicking leaderboard and from the back half of the year it is a race for second spot with Carroll just holding on.

His best return this year was six in round 2 against Mackay Magpies but he is on track to smash his seniors best of just 22 goals in a season.

3. Cameron Hill – North Mackay Saints – 14 goals.

In a similar position to Carroll, a long way off from first but leading his team on the goal kicking front as a powerful forward.

4. Jesse Olsen – Eastern Swans – 12 goals.

Sharing the goal kicking around this season, the Swans have three inside the top 10 with Olsen leading from the front with 12 this season.

The midfield-forward has spent some time in the 50 but looks to have gone back on ball as the Swans continue their undefeated record this season.

5. Luke Slater – North Mackay Saints – 12 goals

A consistent year for Slater, only once has he be kept goalless this season with three rounds of one goal, three rounds of two and one round of three so far this season.

The Hawks main target up forward has had an up and down year when it comes to the big sticks, having three games where he has been kept goalless but three games with five or more goals.

His return of seven against Northern Beaches in round 11 was his best so far this season, he will be looking to knock off his career best of 35 which he did so in 2020 and season 2021.

5. Jack Gusmeroli – Curra Swans – 20 goals.

But it is his round 2 day out which he will remember this season, booting 10 goals against Mt Gravatt to start the year off with 14 goals in the opening two games.

QFA Div 1 – Round 11

1. Rhys Magin – Hinterland – 50 goals

The only player across Queensland to have reached the half century so far this season and he has done it in 10 games which included a massive bag of 10 in round 2 against Beenleigh.

Magin has had returns of 75 (2022) and 61 (2023) in the previous two years and is on track to topple both of them this season as he averages five goals a game with six games to go.

2. Zachary Quin – Mayne – 43 goals

But it was his round 6 clash where he broke the double figures, kicking 10 goals against Moreton Bay.

3. Jai Kennedy – Springwood – 34 goals

Kennedy has kicked multiple goals a game this year, never dropping below two goals which he has managed on four games so far this season.

He has managed a season-high eight goals in round 3 and came close to beating his own record in round 8 where he bagged seven majors against Moreton Bay.

4. Ryan Doolan – Mayne – 32 goals

Doolan has missed four games this season and could be sitting a lot higher than fourth when you look at his average goals per game.

He booted four in the first round then missed the next four before returning in round 6 where he booted 10 majors, also against Moreton Bay.

5. Bayden Goff – Moreton Bay – 31 goals

Goff has been a shining light for Moreton Bay who have just one win under their belt at the half way mark of the season.

His best return this season was in round 7 where he kicked seven against Beenleigh while he has kicked five goals, three times this season.

QFA Div 2 North – Round 12

1. Joshua Elmslie – Kedron – 44 goals

Closing in on the half century, Elmslie has only been kept goalless once this season and kicked five or more on five occasions.

His best return this season came the week before he was kept goalless, kicking eight majors against Pine Rivers in round 6, followed up with seven goals in round 8, a week after he was kept goalless.

2. Ilan Osman – Park Ridge – 41 goals

Osman has had back to back weeks of kicking bags of five as he also closes in on half a century and trying to chase down Elmslie.

His best return this season was six goals against Zillmere in round 6 while also kicking two bags of five and a day out on four.

3. Mitchell McMillan – Jindalee – 30 goals

Kicking the three goals in the round 11 match up against Pine Rivers helped McMillan jump from fifth to third but wasn’t able to help his side take the win.

His best return this season came in round one with a seven goal performance against Wynnum and has added two lots of five bags along with a four goal game this season as well.

4. Josh Westerberg – Sandgate – 29 goals

Westerberg would be pretty happy with his year in front of the big sticks, only being kept goalless once and kept to one goal in a game twice this season.

Sandgate’s leading goal kicker scored a bag of seven against Wynnum in round 2 and a bag of six against Gympie in round 6.

5. Ben Murray – Alexandra Hills – 28 goals
A goalless round 11 forced Murray to drop from third to fifth but it wouldn’t be a big concern for the bloke from Alexandra Hills as he has shown multiple times this year what he can do.

Murray has kicked a big bag of eight twice this season, on in round 4 against Wynnum and then again in round 7 against Kedron.

QFA Div 2 South – Round 12

1. Paddy Turner – Burleigh – 36 goals

Turner started off the year with a bang, kicking the almighty bag of 10 in round 1 to help Burleigh claim a 114 point win.

Since then, the QFA Div 2 South leading goal kicker has bagged two lots of five and two lots of four as he holds onto the lead by just four goals.

2. Nic Denahy – Coolangatta – 32 goals

Denahy kicked 11 goals in the first three weeks to stay in touch with Turner and continues to do so but without making up ground as of yet.

He kicked six goals in round 3 against Coomera but his best return was against Tweed Coast, kicking seven in round 9.

3. Mitchell Chopping – Tweed Coast – 22 goals

Chopping has had a consistent year with six of his games he has kicked three or more goals but has been kept goalless twice this season.

He is on the verge of kicking a big bag and exploding this season but at the moment his best return is four goals in round 8 against the Southern Stingrays.

4. Jackson Coppin – Southern Stingrays – 20 goals

In a similar position to Chopping, Coppin has had a consistent year, kicking a goal in every match except for his round 5 match against Tweed Coast.

His best return this season is four which he kicked in round 7 against Robina and has kicked bags of three on three occasions.

5. Matthew Smith – Bond Uni – 19 goals

A very slow start to the year for Bond Uni’s Matthew Smith, as he had just three goals to his name after seven rounds.

But since then he has bagged two in round 8, three in round 9, his best return of eight in round 10 against Coomera and then three in round 11.

QFA Div 3 North – Round 13

1. Patrick Harris – North Shore – 24 goals

2. Quinten Ross – Caloundra – 20 goals

QFA: Caloundra Vs Burleigh. Caloundra's Quinten Ross celebrates.

Ross is a long way off from breaking his all time goalkicking record of 98 goals in a season which he achieved in 2012.

But from the five games he has played this season, he has kicked three goals in round 2, then two in round 6, four in round 7, six in round 9 and then five in round 10.

3. Jack Ryan – Coorparoo – 14 goals

In what looks to be a tough year for Coorparoo, Ryan looks to be a shining light with the next closest to him from the Roos is Patrick Scurrah with five goals.

Ryan has had two bags of five this season, in round 2 against Moreton Bay and round 6 against Aspley.

4. Ryan Rochford – Caloundra – 13 goals

With just the 17 goals to his name last year for Caloundra, Rochford is just five straight kicks away from setting a new record for himself.

He kicked five goals in round 12 against Moreton Bay, his best return this season and equal his best for Caloundra.

5. Keaton Thomas – Maroochydore – 13 goals

With just the one loss this season Maroochydore could well be on their way to another grand final with Keaton Thomas leading them that way.

He hasn’t played since round 9 where he was kept goalless to go along with round 8 and round 3 but his best return of six goals came in round 4 against Coorparoo.

QFA Div 3 South – Round 13

1. Will McAdam – Coorparoo – 29 goals

Coorparoo are sitting on top of the ladder and some big thanks belongs to Will McAdam in front of goal as he has kicked two or more goals in every game he has played this season.

From just eight games, he has kicked 29 goals which has included kicking five goals three times this season.

2. Hayden Long – Collingwood Park – 20 goals

Long’s best return for a season came in 2021 where he booted 40 goals for Jindalee in 14 games.

He is half way to equalling that but will be hoping for a strong second half of the year and will look to kick more big bags like he did in round 3 against Pacific Pines where he booted seven goals.

3. Ryan Major – Collingwood Park – 17 goals

A three goal game in round 12 against Pacific Pines has leap frogged Ryan Major into third spot.

Major has a bit of work to do if he wants to catch his best return of 54 which he kicked in 2017 for Collingwood Park.

4. Chris Kimmett – Ormeau – 15 goals

Kimmett has equalled his best return for a season with six rounds to go.

He has had kicked four goals on two occasions this season, once in the opening round against Pacific Pines and then round 8 against Sherwood.

5. Hamish Clayton – Pacific Pines – 14 goals

Clayton is just three goals away from equalling his best return for a season, kicking 17 goals in the 2023 season.

Similar to Kimmett, Clayton has kicked four goals twice this season, once against Sherwood in round 7 and Coorparoo in round 9.

QFA Div 4 North – Round 13

1. Campbell Bentley – Sandgate – 33 goals

Sandgate sit equal top on this years Div 4 North ladder and it is widely owed to how good Campbell Bentley has been in front of goal this season.

He was kept goalless just once so far this year but he won’t pay too much attention to it after he booted 10 goals against Yeronga in round 7.

2. Danny Floyd – Glasshouse Hinterland – 28 goals

Floyd is half way to equalling his best season return of 56 goals which he kicked when playing for Pyramid Power in 2016.

He has had two big games this season, with seven goals kicked in both round 5 and round 12.

3. Samuel Noble – Glasshouse Hinterland – 20 goals

Three out of the last four years, Noble has kicked 30 or more goals with 2021 being the only exception where he kicked 29 goals for the year.

With seven rounds to go, Noble averages 3.33 goals per game and should continue on that track to potentially even beat his best return of 38 goals in a season.

4. Ryan Fletcher – Ferny Grove – 19 goals

It is Fletcher’s best return for a season in senior footy but is still 23 goals behind cracking his overall record.

Started off the year pretty well with two games of three goals in a row before kicking just one in the next two weeks but it was his round 8 clash where he booted eight goals against Yeronga that has helped him jump into the top 5.

5. Brad Lovell – Ferny Grove – 17 goals

Coming off a 52 goal season in 2023, Lovell has played just the five games for his 17 goals this season, being kept goalless in the round 6 match against the University of Queensland.

He has had two games of five goals and one bag of six goals in round 10 against Sandgate.

QFA Div 4 South – Round 13

1. Tim Martin – Greater Springfield Sports – 43 goals

Martin has played just the nine games this season for a 43 goal return which has included a bag of eight against Mt Gravatt in round 4 and a bag of seven in round 3 against Carrara.

3. Jesse Cooper – Coomera – 28 goals

Cooper is just eight goals away from a career best season in front of the big sticks as he looks to help keep Coomera in the top six.

His best game this season was in round 9 against Brisbane Valley where he booted 6 goals but has also had three or more goals on five other occasions.

4. Harley Hicks – Greater Springfield Sports – 19 goals

Not a known goal kicker, Hicks has had his best return for a season already with 19 goals in the nine games so far this season.
